Dairy Designs includes photos, plans performance measures and contact details of
a range of well designed, real-life Swingover, Double up and Rotary dairies. We
hope that these example dairies will help you when planning your next dairy.
Click on the links in the left hand menu bar to visit the dairies. We've chosen
dairies that are functional rather than flash, incorporating sound design principles
that make milking easier for the cows and the milkers.
Each dairy also contains a link to a 'print ready' document that contains all the
dairy technical details, photos and plans in an easy to print out format. To open
